Chapter 12 of 17

Personal roster

A real airline's flights, just for you, at your own pace

Pick a real airline and get ten of its actual flights: the same routes, numbers and types. You choose the deadline. The roster is personal and leaves your airline's money and fleet alone.

How to build a roster

  1. 1Pick an airline and a familySearch by name or ICAO code, Russian names work too. Family: A320, 737, 777 and so on.
  2. 2Flight length, pattern and hubShort means up to 2 hours block, medium 2 to 6, long 6 and up. "Round trips from the hub" bring you home, a "Chain" moves on through the network.
  3. 3Pick a deadline and acceptA roster has 10 flights, or 6 long ones. Deadline: a week, 2 weeks, a month or none. Same number of flights, just a slower pace. "Another schedule" builds a new variant, "Accept the schedule" starts the clock. One active roster per pilot.
  4. 4Fly them in orderFly the next flight as a free flight with the tracker running. It is credited on its own when the tracker closes the flight.

When a flight counts

  • Only a free flight recorded by the tracker. A flight booked through an airline does not go here.
  • Departure and arrival airports as in the roster. Divert to an alternate and the flight is not credited, but you can fly it again before the deadline.
  • An aircraft of the same family as in the roster.
  • Strictly in order: only the next flight can be credited.
  • A flight that ended in a crash is not credited.

Skips

Each roster comes with 2 skips: "Skip" removes the next flight, and it earns no XP. If the roster isn't working out, "Abandon schedule" closes it, and the XP already credited stays.

What you get

Credited flightas much XP again as the free flight earned
No skips+100 XP
With skips+50 XP
Deadline passedflight XP stays, no bonus
The roster pays no money, but closed rosters earn badges: for your first one and for one without a single skip. The deadline doesn't matter for them.
