Chapter 1 of 17

Your first flight

What to click to get airborne today

Your simulator does the flying, and Air Virtua gives the flight an airline, an aircraft, passengers and a score. The six steps below take you to your first logged flight.

  1. 1AccountSign up and confirm your email. Your personal account is credited with ₽5,000,000 in seed money right away.
  2. 2AirlineApply to an airline from the catalogue and its management will review the request. Or start your own: a ₽2,000,000 fee comes out of your personal account, the airline gets ₽1,000,000,000 in starting capital, and the airport you pick becomes its base, free to run for good.
  3. 3Type ratingSix ratings are open for free from day one: the single-engine piston and light helicopter classes, the A320 and Boeing 737 families, the SSJ-100 and the L-410. The rest are bought in Career.
  4. 4FlightOn your airline’s Lines tab, pick a line and an available aircraft. The “I can take now” filter leaves only what you can fly. If a booking won’t go through, the reasons are listed in the “Glossary and FAQ” chapter.
  5. 5TrackerDownload the tracker before departure and connect it with “Sign in via browser”, no keys to type. The “To SimBrief” button on the flight page passes on the route, aircraft and payload; set your SimBrief callsign once in your profile. Then fly as usual: the tracker recognises your booked flight and records it.
  6. 6ReportAfter landing the tracker offers to file the report, and it is accepted at once, with no human review. You get a score from A to F, XP and a share of the flight’s profit; the airline gets the revenue.
No tracker? You can file the report by hand from the flight page, but the score will then rest on the landing alone.

Journey analytics runs only with your consent. It counts steps such as signing up and booking, the pages you open, your device and city; form contents and personal data are not collected. You can change your choice in Cookie settings in the footer.

No airline yet

You can still fly. A “free flight” on any route and any aircraft counts towards your hours and pays a little XP, and in “My hangar” you can buy a personal aircraft and fly charters for yourself.
